PermitBase

This is PermitBase’s published record for Delta as of 2026-07-06. It has since been superseded — see the current record. A historical record reflects what PermitBase had verified at that time; it may not capture a real-world change the jurisdiction had made but PermitBase had not yet verified, and it includes any errors we later corrected. Codes adopted

2018 International Building Code (IBC) — per the City of Delta Building Department page (https://www.cityofdelta.net/cd/page/building)2018 International Existing Building Code (IEBC)2018 International Residential Code (IRC)2018 International Fire Code (IFC)2018 International Mechanical Code (IMC)2018 International Plumbing Code (IPC) — adopted per the City's own Building page, but plumbing permitting/inspection itself is performed by the State of Colorado, not the City (see localAmendments)2018 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC)2012 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) — electrical permitting IS performed by the City of Delta (unlike several peer home-rule cities in this corpus, e.g. Montrose, where the State Electrical Board handles it)NOTE — code-edition discrepancy found and not silently reconciled: the City's own 2026 Schedule of Fees and Charges (Table 3A, Building Permit Fees valuation table) is explicitly headed 'Group (2024 International Building Code)', a newer edition than the 2018 IBC named on the Building Department page itself. Both are official City-published documents retrieved directly this session; the discrepancy is surfaced here rather than guessed at — confirm the currently-enforced IBC edition directly with the Building Department (970-874-7909) before relying on either figure for design compliance.

Electrical Permit

Verified
