What Property Access includes
19,253,000 permits on 6,054,814 properties from 200 jurisdictions in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, California, Texas, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, Louisiana, Missouri, Ohio, District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Dakota, Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire and South Carolina — that is every permit these jurisdictions publish — electrical, plumbing, mechanical and sign permits as well as building permits — pulled from each one's public permit portal and searchable by street address, and assembled from 388 public-records requests filed one jurisdiction at a time. What it does not include
- Owner and applicant names — neither column is imported. Some free-text descriptions still contain personal data: names, phone numbers, email addresses. A redaction is prepared for the cases automated detection can find and has not yet been applied; names written in ordinary prose are not reliably detectable and may remain
- Jurisdictions outside Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, California, Texas, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, Louisiana, Missouri, Ohio, District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Dakota, Illinois, Minnesota, New Hampshire and South Carolina
- Parcel-level property identity — search matches on the address text as the jurisdiction published it, not a geocoded parcel

One exception, and it matters before you subscribe: Spanish Fork, UT (95.28%) publishes permits without a street address, so its records are in the dataset and in the building-activity totals but cannot be found by address search. If it is the only place you need, this product will not answer your question. Measured 2026-09-15.
