    Foundation

    Required before concrete pour; a Top of Foundation Compliance Form is part of Fruita's standard submittal package

  2. 2

    Rough Frame / Rough Electrical / Rough Plumbing / Rough Mechanical

    Framing, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-ins inspected before concealment

  3. 3

    Insulation

    Energy Code Checklist compliance verified before drywall/cover, per the 2021 IECC as locally amended

  4. 4

    Final Inspection

    All work complete per approved plans and applicable codes; floodplain administrator sign-off required first if the parcel is in a mapped flood hazard area

    Rough Frame / Electrical / Plumbing / Mechanical

    Roof Sheathing

    Inspects the framing of the roof system and sheathing before it is covered — per Fruita's own Reroof Information page

    Mid-Roof

    Required when 10% to 40% of the shingles are installed; verifies roof deck, all flashings, drip edge, underlayment, nailing, and roof ventilation — per Fruita's own Reroof Information page

    EVSE circuit wiring and disconnect inspected before concealment, per the City's standard electrical rough-in practice

    EVSE unit connections verified, circuit labeled, system energized

Applies to: Mechanical / HVAC Permit

    Rough Mechanical

    Ductwork, flues, and equipment rough-in inspected before concealment

    Final Mechanical

    Equipment operational; combustion air and venting verified

    Rough Plumbing

    Underground/in-slab and rough-in plumbing inspected before concealment

    Final Plumbing

    Fixtures connected, no leaks, proper venting verified

    Conduit runs, wire sizing, and disconnect placement verified before energizing, per standard electrical permit inspection practice; electrical plans must be on site for this inspection

    Racking, roof penetrations, electrical connections, and all required NEC labeling (Sections 690.54, 690.13(b), 705.10, 705.12, 690.56) verified
