Residential Building Permit

Required for new single-family dwelling construction, additions, and structural alterations in unincorporated Sanpete County. The Sanpete County Building Department issues all building permits for unincorporated county land and, per cooperative arrangement, also issues the underlying building permit for essentially every incorporated municipality in the county (Manti, Ephraim, Gunnison, Mt. Pleasant, Fairview, Spring City, Moroni, Centerfield, Fayette, Sterling, Mayfield, Wales, Fountain Green/Ft. Green) — those cities perform their own separate zoning approval first, then the County Building Department reviews plans, collects fees, and issues the permit and inspections.
