Eagar building permits

Requirements

• Building permit required for new homes, room additions, remodels, garages, carports, patios, decks, workshops, barns, sheds, and residential electric service panel work within Eagar town limits
• Two plot plans required showing accurate lot delineation, location of all existing structures, and location of the proposed structure, observing all required setbacks and easements
• Two sets of plans and specifications required, including footing detail, framing detail, roof detail, truss layout, truss detail, and elevations; all plan pages/copies must have the owner/builder's name and phone number printed on them
• No additions, alterations, or modifications to approved plans are permitted without written approval of the building official
• A copy of the septic permit is required when applicable (applicant must check Septic or Sewer on the application)
• Proof of property ownership may be required if the property was acquired within sixty days prior to the permit application (copy of recorded deed or sales transaction)
• Contractor information (name, AZ ROC license number and class) required for General, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing contractors used on the project, OR a claimed owner-builder/owner-developer exemption under A.R.S. § 32-1121(A)(5) or (A)(6)
