Applies to: Commercial Building Permit (New Construction, Shell Building, Additions, Remodels)

Engineering Site Inspection (Site Accessibility)
New sidewalks, hardscaping, and accessible parking areas inspected with a 2-foot digital level to verify maximum 2% cross slope and approved longitudinal slopes

Final Site Inspection
Verifies the site has been cleaned of construction debris, dumpsters removed, and sidewalks/wheel stops/landscaping undamaged

Zoning Inspection
Verifies exterior colors/materials match approved architectural design, completed irrigation audit, outdoor lighting height/compliance, required public art installed, roof coating color/reflectivity, and screening of new mechanical equipment

Fire Inspection (Golder Ranch Fire District)
Scheduled online at grfdaz.gov; verifies no unauthorized combustibles/trailers on site without established fire flow and that a Knox-box key has been provided for emergency access

Certificate of Occupancy / Permit Close-Out
Requires a valid Town business license, Golder Ranch Fire District final inspection report, a Chlorination Report if potable water lines were modified/newly installed, an Air Balance Report if 2+ HVAC systems were modified/newly installed, and a Pima County Health Department Certificate for restaurants/food service; C of O's are generally issued within 24 hours of receiving all required approvals and documents
