Building Permit
VerifiedOrange takes applications only through a Civic Portal, and books inspections out of a finite pool of slots rather than against a daily deadline. It also publishes a full ordered list of the inspections a project will need, which most cities in this corpus do not.

Requirements
- THERE IS ONE ROUTE IN AND THE CITY SAYS SO: "The Building Division accepts all permit applications only through the Civic Portal."
- AND A SIGNATURE IS PART OF SETTING UP THE ACCOUNT, NOT PART OF SUBMITTING: "In the portal, create an account and signature under the 'My Profile' tab once logged in. The Building Division tab can be found on the homepage of the Civic Portal." A digital signature configured in advance is an easy step to discover late.
- INSPECTIONS ALSO REQUIRE THE ACCOUNT: "All inspections must be scheduled through our new Civic Portal, and you must have an account to log in and schedule."
- PAY IN PERSON BEFORE 4:30 - the counter runs to 5:00 p.m. but "In-person fee payment will be accepted until 4:30 p.m."
