Published scheduling rules

  • GET INSPECTION REQUESTS IN BEFORE 2:00 PM for the next business day. (Building Permit)
  • EVERYTHING GOES THROUGH THE PORTAL AND THE MONEY COMES WITH IT: "All submittals including Fast-Track permits must be made through the Menifee Permit Portal, with fees - including plan review fees - due at the time of submittal." Registration is required both to apply and to schedule inspections. (Building Permit)

    Portal only, with inspectors working assigned areas

    "All building inspections must be scheduled via the Menifee Permit Portal. You must be registered to apply for permits and schedule inspections." Behind it: "field inspectors are assigned an area of the City and perform daily inspections in that area."

    Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 2:00 pm cut-off

    "Inspections are conducted Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm", and "Building Inspections requested before 2:00 pm can be performed the next business day."

    One hour a day to reach an inspector by phone

    "To speak with an inspector directly, please call (951) 723-3736 between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, Monday through Friday." Outside that hour the route is the portal or the main line; the window sits before inspections begin at 8:00 am.

    Two solar inspections per company per day
