Electrical permits are NOT issued or administered by the Town of Avon. Per the Town's own 'Common Building Permit Types' guide: 'The Town of Avon does not manage electrical permits, these go through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies' (DORA). This is confirmed independently by the Town's own Building Permit Fee Schedule footnote: 'Electrical Permits and Fees are administered by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.' This is a materially different model from Vail (same county), which issues its own electrical permits locally.
