  • Roof framing plan, wall section/connection details, and elevations (front, back, both sides)
  • Floodplain elevation certificate and pre-construction elevation survey if located within the county's designated flood plain areas
  • Separate permits required for electrical and plumbing work, obtained through the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety (DOPL), not the county

Manufactured/Mobile Home Installation Permit

Requirements

  • State of Idaho–issued installation tag obtained BEFORE submitting the county permit application, for all new manufactured/modular homes
  • Classification as Class A, B, or C manufactured home per the definitions in the Manufactured Home Packet, which determines permitted zoning districts
  • Two (2) sets of plans, minimum 11"x17", to scale
  • Site plan, foundation plan or skirting/blocking-and-anchoring design, floor plan with smoke/CO detector locations
  • For homes manufactured before June 15, 1976 and being relocated: compliance with the Idaho Mobile Home Rehabilitation Act (Idaho Code § 44-2503/title 44, chapter 25) and a Mobile Home Compliance Rehabilitation Certificate from the Idaho Division of Building Safety, obtained before applying
  • Landings/egress diagram, legal documents showing ownership/make/model/year, proof of paid property taxes
  • Exterior photos of all sides for used/existing homes (not required for new homes)
