This is PermitBase’s published record for Malad City as of 2026-07-07. It has since been superseded — see the current record. A historical record reflects what PermitBase had verified at that time; it may not capture a real-world change the jurisdiction had made but PermitBase had not yet verified, and it includes any errors we later corrected. No standalone published valuation-based fee table (e.g., a Table 1-A) could be located on the City of Malad website, in Malad City Council budget documents, in Ordinance 484, or in Oneida County's published Planning & Zoning fee schedule (which covers only P&Z land-use fees, not building permits). The City's FY2023-24 budget shows a dedicated "Licenses & Permits" General Fund revenue line ($13,500 projected) and a dedicated "Building Inspector" expense line ($35,000 projected), confirming the City independently budgets for and collects building permit revenue, but does not itemize a per-project fee table. Idaho DOPL's fee tables apply only to jurisdictions where the state administers permitting by default (i.e., where no local government has opted in) — Malad has opted in via Ordinance 484, so the state fee table is not the applicable schedule here. Applicants should confirm the exact fee with the City at (208) 766-4160 before applying.
