Inspection of all braces, anchors, supports, and connections, including wall signs, per VZC § 15.48.040.

Signs containing electrical wiring are subject to the city's adopted electrical code; all electrical components must bear the label of an approved testing agency, per VZC § 15.48.040.

Site Inspection
Confirms the sign was constructed according to the approved application and valid sign permit, per VZC § 15.48.040.

Planning, Fire, and Building Department Approval (Business License)
Required before a business license issues for an applicant needing fire and building inspections or additional zoning review, per the city's official Business License FAQ page; the fire-inspection component is performed by the Orem Fire Prevention Division.

Final Inspection / Zoning-Occupancy Compliance Certificate
Required before occupancy of any structure, whenever the change of use is accompanied by construction/tenant-finish work processed under a Building Permit; occupancy is prohibited until this certificate is issued, per the official Building Permit Application.
