Inspection sequence
Applies to: Commercial Building Permit (New Commercial Construction)

Foundation/Footing
Required prior to concrete pour, consistent with the adopted 2018 IBC.

Special Inspections (if required)
Per IBC Chapter 17, performed by the agency named on the project's Code Analysis submittal for structural elements the Building Official designates.

Rough-In (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing)
Trade rough-in inspections for the separately permitted electrical, mechanical, and plumbing scopes.

Framing
Structural framing inspection after rough-ins are signed off.

Fire Sprinkler/Alarm (if applicable)
Inspected under the separate Fire Fee Schedule if the project includes new or modified fire sprinkler or fire alarm systems.

Final / Certificate of Occupancy
Final building and trade inspections prior to occupancy; a Conditional Certificate of Occupancy ($346.87) may be requested if occupancy is needed before full completion.
