Tips
- This permit is explicitly for TEMPORARY structures only — no permanent surface treatments (concrete pads, asphalt, affixed decking) are allowed.
- The City may revoke a Provisional Building Permit at any time for non-compliance or to protect public utility easement access — this is a real risk for structures placed over an easement.
- Requires sign-off from both the Deputy Director of Community Development and the Director of Public Works on the application form itself (the July 2026 edition names Cutter Love, Deputy Director, Community Development, and Raul Naranjo, Director, Public Works).
