    A final inspection is required for all Owner-Builder permits. Option 1 final inspection may result in a conditioned Certificate of Occupancy. Option 2 final is an administrative record-only site visit, NOT a code-compliance inspection.

Applies to: Residential Building Permit (New Construction, Addition, Accessory Structure)

    Footing/Foundation

    Before concrete pour — verify footing depth (12 in. minimum at 1,000 psf allowable foundation pressure, 18 in. for Table 1806.2 values per local amendment), dimensions, and reinforcement per 2015 IRC/IBC as amended

    Framing

    After framing, sheathing, and rough-in trades complete — before insulation or wall cover

  3. 3

    Insulation

    Insulation installed before wall cover, per adopted energy provisions

  4. 4

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans; a final inspection is required to close the permit. Certificate of Occupancy may be issued if eligible once minimum requirements are verified.

    Set / Installation Inspection

    Verify foundation/blocking/tie-down and utility connections per State of Arizona Manufactured Home program and county installation permit (fee includes two inspections)

    Installation complete and operational
