   Rough-in inspections for mechanical, electrical (copper conductors verified), and plumbing systems before concealment

   Residential Final

   Final inspection verifying all systems complete, EV charging circuit present (new construction), ice barrier/roofing compliance, and Certificate of Occupancy readiness

Applies to: Sign Permit (Permanent Sign)

   Footing (freestanding signs only)

   Required for freestanding signs, including addition of sign area to an existing sign, before/during installation

   Electrical (illuminated signs only)

   Required prior to placement of any illuminated sign

   Braces, Anchors, Supports, and Connections

   Structural connection points inspected for compliance

   Final

   Establishes compliance with Division 10-50.100, Sign Standards, and other applicable City codes

   Building Plan Reviewer assesses the proposed new occupancy classification against International Existing Building Code requirements

   Construction Inspections (if alterations are made)

   Standard foundation/framing/MEP rough-in inspections applicable to whichever underlying Building Permit type (residential addition/remodel or commercial building permit) covers the alteration work, if any

   Final / Certificate of Occupancy Inspection

   Building Official confirms the building complies with the Zoning Code and all applicable City codes before issuing the new Certificate of Occupancy

Applies to: Plumbing Permit

   Before concrete pour — verify pipe slope, materials, and cleanouts

   Rough-In

   After pipes installed, before walls closed

   Final

   All fixtures connected, water heater verified, no leaks

Applies to: Residential Addition / Remodel / Alteration Permit

   Required before concrete pour for deck posts, garage foundations, or addition footings

   Ductwork and mechanical equipment rough-in before walls closed; gas piping pressure test before concealment

   Equipment operational; clearances, combustion air, and venting verified

Applies to: Re-Roofing Permit

   Replacement decking must be inspected before being covered with underlayment when decking replacement is part of the re-roof
