Inspection sequence

Applies to: Commercial Building Permit (New Construction, Tenant Improvement, Shell Building)

    Before concrete pour, per 2018 IBC

    Framing / Structural

    After structural framing complete, before wall cover

  3. 3

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans; Certificate of Occupancy issued (included in permit fee; Temporary C of O is a separate $500 fee, renewable every 30 days)

Applies to: Residential Building Permit (New Construction, Addition, Accessory Structure)

    Before concrete pour — verify footing depth, dimensions, and reinforcement per 2018 IRC/IBC

    Framing

    After framing, sheathing, and rough-in trades complete — before insulation or wall cover

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans; schedule via the iworq Citizen Portal or call 928-669-6138

Applies to: Fire Sprinkler / Fire Alarm System Permit

    Rough-In

    Fire sprinkler piping and fire alarm wiring installed and inspected before concealment, under the adopted 2018 International Fire Code and 2018 IBC

    Final

    System complete, tested and operational. A reinspection fee of $60.00 per inspection is assessed every time the same project is inspected after a failed initial inspection (Resolution No. 2026-11, Exhibit D, page 11 of 13).
