Applies to: Commercial Building Permit (New Construction, Tenant Improvement, Shell Building)

    Before concrete pour, per 2018 IBC

    Framing / Structural

    After structural framing complete, before wall cover

  3. 3

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans; Certificate of Occupancy issued (included in permit fee; Temporary C of O is a separate $500 fee, renewable every 30 days)

Applies to: Residential Building Permit (New Construction, Addition, Accessory Structure)

    Footing/Foundation

    Before concrete pour — verify footing depth, dimensions, and reinforcement per 2018 IRC/IBC

    Framing

    After framing, sheathing, and rough-in trades complete — before insulation or wall cover

  3. 3

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans; schedule via the iworq Citizen Portal or call 928-669-6138

Applies to: Manufactured Home / Park Model / Factory-Built Building Placement Permit

    Placement / Installation Inspection

    Verify installation per Arizona Department of Housing installation guidelines for manufactured homes

  2. 2

    Final

    Required before occupancy — home may not be occupied until the placement permit is approved and final inspection performed and approved

Applies to: Mechanical / Plumbing / Electrical Permit

    Rough-In

    Wiring, piping, or ductwork installed and inspected before wall cover or concealment

    All trade work complete and operational per adopted 2018 IMC/IPC/IFGC and 2020 NEC

    Wiring, combiners, and disconnects inspected before concealment, per adopted 2020 NEC

    Final

    Array mounting, bonding/grounding, and point of interconnection complete and operational

Applies to: Swimming Pool / Spa / Jacuzzi Permit

    Pre-Gunite / Steel

    Verify rebar, rough plumbing, and pool shell before gunite or shotcrete application per 2018 ISPSC/IRC

    All work complete; pool filled; equipment operational
