   If the TI cuts the slab for new plumbing, inspected independently before cover

   Commercial inspections are scheduled per-discipline as needed; partial inspections are standard operating procedure, so trades do not all have to be ready at once

   Sprinkler/alarm/hood modifications inspected by Castle Rock Fire and Life Safety under separate fire permits; 24-hour notice required (303-660-1066)

   Final Inspections — All Disciplines

   Building and trade finals plus sign-offs from all authorities over the permit (Fire, Health Department for food service, Utilities, etc.)

   Certificate of Occupancy / Completion

   Per the Commercial CO Checklist, issued within 24 hours once all approval letters are in, all authorities have signed off and the inspection card is approved

   Before concrete pour; must be inspected/reported by a Colorado-licensed professional engineer or registered architect per local amendment R109.1.1.1, in addition to the Town's own foundation inspection

   Verifies wiring, panel capacity, and — where a solar-ready zone is installed — conduit/prewiring from the solar-ready zone to the electrical panel (local amendment R105.2.4.1)

   Insulation and Fenestration Rough-In

   Verifies insulation types/R-values and fenestration U-factors before interior finish, per local amendment R105.2.4.2

   Final

   All work complete, ready for Certificate of Occupancy

   For additions or garages with new footings — 36-inch minimum frost depth

   Verifies the new use/occupancy against current Fire Code requirements; billed as the Fire Department's separate Change of Use inspection fee
