Tips
- The EPA federal notification requirement (10 working days advance notice) is separate from and in addition to the City's own Demolition Permit Application — both must be filed.
- Debris and salvage must be removed from the site within 48 hours of demolition, and hazard signage must be posted around the project perimeter for the duration of work.
- For asbestos removal/disposal questions, contact Montana DEQ's Asbestos Control Program (406-444-2690) or the EPA Region VIII Asbestos Enforcement Coordinator (303-312-6126).
