Applies to: Residential Building Permit (New Construction)

    Underground Plumbing / Slab Rough-In

    Underground piping and under-slab rough-in before concrete pour — pressure test required

    Framing / Structural

    After framing, sheathing, roof, and rough-in trades complete — before insulation or wall cover

  4. 4

    MEP Rough-In

    Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in before walls are covered — may be combined with framing inspection

  5. 5

    Insulation / Energy

    Insulation and energy compliance items verified before drywall — 2024 IECC compliance

  6. 6

    Final

    All work complete, certificate of occupancy issued — all trades, site grading, address signage, smoke/CO detectors verified

    Pool plumbing lines installed, pressure test before backfill

    Bonding conductors connected to all metal components — verified before plaster or decking

  4. 4

    Barrier / Fencing

    Pool barrier installed and compliant (minimum 48-inch height, self-closing/latching gate) before water is introduced

  5. 5

    Final

    All work complete — pool filled, equipment operational, safety features verified, electrical final
