Solar PV Permit
VerifiedNephi does not publish a distinct solar/solar-PV permit type or fee line item. Per the Nephi City Fee Schedule Report (effective 6/16/2026), a rooftop or ground-mounted solar photovoltaic installation is processed as electrical/building work under the same valuation-based Building Permit and the Electrical Re-wire Permit (fee determined by the building inspector from valuation); no 'solar' fee line exists anywhere in the schedule. Fire Sprinkler / Fire Alarm System Permit
VerifiedNephi's own 26-page Fee Schedule Report (effective 6/16/2026) contains zero 'sprinkler,' 'fire alarm,' or 'fire suppression' line items anywhere in its Building Permit, Miscellaneous Permit, or Utility Rates sections (full page-by-page review, 2026-07-22). Fire protection service to Nephi is not run by a standalone Nephi City fire marshal's office — Nephi Fire Department (Chief Kurtis Park, 95 E 100 N) is one of six volunteer departments (Eureka, Levan, Mona, Nephi, Rocky Ridge, and West Desert communities) under the countywide Juab Special Service Fire District, established 2001, addressed at 160 North Main, Nephi, UT 84648 (the same address as Juab County's own offices) per the Utah Public Notice Website's public-body listing.
