Applications are submitted in person or by mail using the Town's paper Building Permit Packet (permit application, requirement checklist, soils test forms, owner/builder agreement, fee schedule and general information). Per Town Code § 151.06, the Building Inspector's administrative authority for all building, plumbing, electrical, and other inspections is vested in the Office of the Town Clerk; the Council may authorize additional persons to perform inspection work or other functions required by the chapter.

    Inspected before it is covered and the floor is poured

    Shear Wall & Sheeting

    Inspected before being covered by house wrap or other material

    4-Way (Framing, Rough Plumbing, Rough Electrical, Rough Mechanical, Rough Gas)

    Combined rough-in inspection of framing and all rough trade work

    Insulation

    Inspected before being covered by sheetrock or other material

    Drywall/Wallboard

    Rough drywall inspected before taping and applying drywall mud

    The holder of an OSFM operational or construction permit is entitled to inspections as prescribed in Arizona Administrative Code Title 4, Chapter 36; scheduled via OSFM's own online Inspection Request form

    Billed at OSFM's re-inspection fee rate if a scheduled inspection is missed/cancelled without 24 hours' notice, or if the site fails inspection
