    Mesa requires inspections at each stage of construction prior to concealment or cover. Approved inspections allow work to continue; failed inspections require corrections and rescheduling. Inspections are conducted Monday–Friday 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

    Final Inspection

    Final inspection is conducted when all work on the project is completed, including off-site (right-of-way) and on-site (lot) improvements. Upon passing final, the permit is closed and a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Completion is generated. For utility meter set after final inspection, call 480-644-2221.
