Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (closed Fridays and holidays). Building inspectors are available in the office 7-8 a.m. and 4-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday; applicants may call 928-636-3480 between 7-8 a.m. the morning of a scheduled inspection to request an AM/PM timing preference. The Town uses the CitizenServe online portal (citizenserve.com/chinovalleyaz) for permit applications, status tracking, and payments. Inspections may be scheduled via the CitizenServe portal, by texting 1-888-855-8919 with permit number/inspection code/date, or by calling 1-888-855-8919 and following the automated IVR prompts; requests made before midnight are scheduled for the next business day.

Inspection sequence

Applies to: Residential Single-Family Building Permit (New Construction)

    Before concrete pour; verifies minimum 18-inch footing depth and stem-wall reinforcement per Chino Valley Town Code § 150.001 amendments

    Structural framing, connections, braced wall lines, egress, per 2024 IRC and Town of Chino Valley design criteria

    Address Numbers

    At the first inspection, address numbers must be a minimum of 5 inches in height with 1/2-inch broad stroke, contrasting colors, and readable from the street

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans before occupancy
