When you need this permit
- MFH installers must hold an Installer's License from the Arizona Department of Fire, Building and Life Safety covering Mobile/Factory Built Buildings, plus a Town of Chino Valley business license
- All subcontractors must be listed with their Registrar of Contractors and Town of Chino Valley license numbers
- Used manufactured homes require a copy of title/registration proving manufacturer, size, VIN, and year of construction; homes must have a minimum width of 12 feet, minimum 400 sq ft of livable space, and be manufactured after June 15, 1976
- Site plan required showing distances to other structures/property lines (and, if in a park, distances to adjacent manufactured homes on both sides)
- Authorization to Construct Septic Permit from Yavapai County required for new homes (or a completed Residential Utilities Application if town services are available; existing septic approval for replacement homes)
- Completed Proposed Driveway Plan required for new home placements
- Construction/placement must begin within 180 days of permit issuance, with substantial progress every 180 days thereafter or the permit expires
