    Placement of footing and rebar verified; no plumbing running parallel inside footing; pipes crossing footings protected; footing depth checked.

    Underground Electrical / Underground Mechanical / Underground Plumbing

    Trench depth, conduit/conductor sizing, direct-burial-listed ducts with sealed joints, pipe slope, cleanouts, backflow preventers on basements, minimum 10-foot water head test or 15-minute air test.

    Foundation Wall

    Rebar spacing/ties per plan, wall thickness per plan, hold-downs in proper locations, wall height matching engineering.

  5. 5

    Slab (suspended)

    Rebar size/spacing and slab thickness per plan.

  6. 6

    Temporary Power

    Panel pole secured, all circuits GFCI-protected, ground/neutral bonded.

  7. 7

    Roof

    Sheathing gap, nailing, thickness per span rating, truss condition and bracing per plan.

  8. 8

    Interior/Exterior Shear

    Sheathing type/size, nailing, hold-down hardware, anchor bolts per plan.

    Rough Mechanical / Rough Plumbing / Rough Electrical / Gas Piping

    Ductwork support and insulation, DWV water/air test, vent slope, outlet spacing, smoke/CO detector placement, gas line pressure test (1.5x working pressure, minimum 3 psig) with Cedar City gas clearance form on site.

    Framing

    All prior inspections approved; notching/boring of structural members checked; tempered glass in hazardous locations; stair construction; fire blocking; egress window sizing (max 44 in. to opening).

    Insulation

    Batts installed per manufacturer instructions with correct R-value; top/bottom plate holes sealed; window/door jambs sealed to meet IECC minimums.

    Lath / Drywall / Fire Assembly / Shower Pan

    Weather barrier and lath wire installation; Type X drywall over garages with living space above; fire-rated assembly verification; shower pan 2-inch water dam test.

    Permanent Power

    Rocky Mountain Power service order number provided at inspection request; grounding conductors landed; at least one GFCI outlet installed.

    Building Final

    Address permanently posted; all trades complete; site clean (no dumpster/porta-potty); driveway finished; grading slopes away from house; all required certificates (stucco, insulation, grading) on site; utilities hooked up and operational.

    All finishes complete, exit signage and emergency lighting verified before occupancy.
