Phone
303-258-3266
Office hours
Nederland Town Hall open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In-person appointments with the Community Planner at Town Hall are available on a staggered schedule: first and third weeks of the month on Monday and Wednesday; second and fourth weeks on Wednesday and Friday. Virtual (Teams) meetings available any time by appointment. All Building/Right-of-Way permits and Land Use Applications are submitted to planner@nederlandco.org. Building inspections are scheduled directly with the Town's contracted plan-review/inspection firm, SAFEbuilt Colorado, at (303) 450-8745.

Published scheduling rules

  • Plan review is contracted out to SAFEbuilt Colorado, not performed directly by Town staff — schedule inspections through SAFEbuilt's dedicated line (303-450-8745), separate from the Town's general Building Department line (303-258-3266). (Residential Building Permit (New Construction))
  • Nederland contracts ALL plan review and inspection services to SAFEbuilt Colorado — the Town's own staff (Community Planner/Deputy Zoning Administrator) handle intake, zoning compliance, and fee/escrow administration, but code plan review and field inspections are performed by SAFEbuilt. Schedule inspections through SAFEbuilt's dedicated line (303-450-8745), not the Town's general Building Department number (303-258-3266). The Chief Building Official is Alejandro Pantoja. (General)
