Applies to: Residential Building Permit (New Construction)

    Before concrete pour, per 40-inch minimum frost depth (or ASCE 32 design); frost report required if poured Nov 1-May 1 or during a freeze window

    Rough Frame

    Framing complete before cover

  3. 3

    Rough Plumbing / Rough Electrical / Rough Mechanical

    Trade rough-ins before concealment; separate sub-permits required

  4. 4

    Final Building Inspection

    Requires prior sign-off from Finance (if valuation over $100K), Upper Blue Sanitation District, Red White & Blue Fire, and Planning/Engineering/Water/Streets as applicable; certificate of occupancy issued via email upon passing

Applies to: Commercial Building Permit (New Construction)

    Framing and plumbing/electrical/mechanical rough-ins (under separate sub-permits) before concealment; inspections are scheduled by the general contractor through the user portal — requests submitted before 11pm can be completed as soon as the next business day

    Final Building Inspection

    Requires prior final approvals from Finance (if valuation over $100K), Red White & Blue Fire District, and — where their sign-off applied — Upper Blue Sanitation District, Environmental Health, Planning, Engineering, Water, and Streets; certificate of completion issued via email upon passing

    Underlayment, valley flashing, and ventilation openings verified before roof covering installation is completed
