  • A failed water heater may be replaced immediately in an emergency, provided the permit application is submitted the next business day. (Furnace / Water Heater Replacement Permit)
  • Emergency replacements (e.g., failed water heater) may be installed before permit issuance provided the application is submitted the next business day (Furnace / Water Heater Replacement Permit)
  • Permits are valid for 6 months (180 days), extendable by continuing to request inspections; one formal extension and up to 3 amendments/revisions (each a flat $85.00 fee) are allowed per permit. (General)

    Rough Electrical / Plumbing / Mechanical

    Trade rough-ins before concealment

    Final Inspection

    All work complete per approved plans

Applies to: Residential Addition / Interior Remodel Permit

    Foundation (additions with new footings only)

    Prior to concrete pour

  2. 2

    Rough Frame

    Framing complete, connection to existing structure verified

  3. 3

    Rough Electrical / Plumbing / Mechanical

    Trade rough-ins before concealment

    Final Inspection

    All work complete per approved plans
