EV Charger / EVSE Permit in Notus, Idaho

The City of Notus does not publish a dedicated EV charger/EVSE permit, and does not issue electrical permits of any kind — the City's own Forms-Apps-Permits page states plainly that 'Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical permits are issued through State agencies.' Installation of a Level 2 EV charger requires an electrical permit from the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) / Electrical Board, the same statewide mechanism that covers all other electrical work in Notus (including solar PV interconnection).
