Tips
- Schedule inspections by calling the Inspection Line voicemail at (702) 346-6156. Cut-off for next-day inspections is 4:00 PM. Leave permit number and inspection type.
- Same-day inspections are possible if the inspector's workload allows — a $35.00 same-day fee applies and must be paid before the inspection.
- Plans and permit must be on site and visible for inspectors at all inspections.
- Mesquite uses UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code) and UMC (Uniform Mechanical Code) — IAPMO codes — not the IPC/IMC.
- Desert Tortoise Habitat Conservation Plan mitigation fee may apply for ground disturbance within the Clark County DCCP fee assessment area (Title 7, Chapter 2).
- Residential/Dwelling Building Submittal Fee ($75) is non-refundable and non-offset — it is separate from the building permit fee.
