Published scheduling rules
- All inspections must be requested at least one business day in advance; after-hours call-ins are logged the next business day. Call (775) 623-6319 to schedule. (Residential Building Permit (New Construction / Single-Family Dwelling))
- Before demolishing any non-residential structure containing plumbing fixtures, an inspection must be scheduled so the number of plumbing fixtures can be counted and recorded; a sewer/water connection fee credit will be applied to a new structure built on the same property if the new permit is obtained within five years of the sewer/water fixture demolition and the number of removed plumbing connections is on record (Demolition Permit)
- A final inspection must be requested upon completion of the demolition; before scheduling the final inspection, all concrete and debris must be removed from the lot, all holes and depressions filled in, and the lot rough-graded (Demolition Permit)
