    Phase Inspections (Building Official)

    Per the Permitting & Inspections page, 'Inspection of each major phase of a construction project is required to ensure that the work performed conforms to the code, building permit, and approved plans'; the City does not publish a named commercial inspection sequence (footing/framing/etc.) — request each inspection with 24-hour notice at 575-769-7829

    Trade Inspections (Electrical / Plumbing / Mechanical)

    Rough-in and final inspections under the separate trade permits pulled by the listed licensed subcontractors, per the City's general trade-permit inspection process

    Fire Marshal Construction Final

    Where the project includes fire sprinkler or fire alarm systems, the Fire Marshal's Office (a separate office, firemarshal@cityofclovis.org) performs plan review, testing, and a construction final inspection under the 2021 IFC; new businesses must also pass a fire department inspection before a City business license is issued

    Automatic fire sprinkler and fire alarm plans are reviewed by the Fire Marshal's Office against the adopted 2021 International Fire Code prior to installation

    Final inspection and testing of the installed fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm system by the Fire Marshal's Office
