Foundation Inspection
After excavation for footings is complete and required reinforcing steel is in place; concrete forms must be in place before inspection.

Concrete Slab / Under-Floor Inspection
After in-slab or under-floor service equipment, conduit, and piping are in place, before concrete is placed or floor sheathing is installed.

Frame Inspection
After the roof, framing, fire blocking, and bracing are in place and the rough electrical, plumbing, and heating work is complete and approved.

Weather-Resistive Barrier Inspection
After installation of the weather-resistive barrier and before it is covered.

Final Inspection
After finish grading, with the building complete and ready for occupancy; final electrical, plumbing, and mechanical inspections must pass first. CID issues the Certificate of Occupancy after this inspection.

Rough-in Inspection (Sprinkler)
Required before concealment of sprinkler piping; the SFCFD-stamped plan set must be on site or the inspection will not be performed.

Installation company representative must be present; requires a signed Contractor's Material & Test Certificate for Above Ground Piping.

Final Inspection (Fire Alarm / Alternative Suppression Systems)
Installation company representative must be present; fire alarm final additionally requires a 'System of Record Completion' from the alarm company plus an emailed monitoring-service report.
