- Required for any shed/accessory building over 200 sq ft
- Sheds 200 sq ft or less: no permit required, but must still meet the ACCESSORY BUILDING (SHED) GUIDELINES setback/height rules
- No accessory buildings allowed in the front yard
- Rear yard: minimum 6' from the main building (eave to eave), 1' from the property line, and 10' from any building on an adjacent lot
- Side yard: minimum 6' from the main building and 10' from adjacent buildings (eave to eave), plus zone-specific side setbacks of 8'–10'
- Maximum height 19' (finished floor to roof midpoint); walls may not exceed 10'
- Sheds located over a utility easement require written permission from the utility company/easement holder or are subject to removal
- Non-compliant sheds (of any size) may be required to be removed
