Inspection sequence

Applies to: Residential Building Permit (New Construction)

    Before concrete pour; verifies 18-inch minimum foundation depth and 10-inch minimum spread footing thickness per City of Coolidge amendments

  2. 2

    Framing

    Structural framing, connections, and egress per 2018 IRC and City of Coolidge amendments (metal framing anchors, floor-to-floor strap ties, truss-to-top-plate connections)

  3. 3

    Building Weather-Tight (Frame Inspection)

    Building must be weather-tight at the time of the frame inspection per Coolidge amendment to §110.304

  4. 4

    Final / Certificate of Occupancy

    All work complete per approved plans; building address numbers (4-inch minimum, durable material) must be displayed prior to final inspection/CO issuance

Applies to: Residential Addition / Remodel Permit

    Foundation/Footing

    Required before concrete pour; addition foundations must be tied to the existing foundation per City amendment
