- Mechanical permits are issued under the same combined Construction Permit application as Building and Plumbing work in Vail — there is no standalone mechanical-only application form.
- At Vail's elevation (8,150 ft per the Town's Manual J Design Criteria) and winter design temperature of -5F, confirm your HVAC contractor is sizing equipment to the Town's specific Manual J altitude correction factor (0.745), not sea-level assumptions.
