Inspection sequence

Applies to: Residential Addition / Remodel Permit

    Rough Frame

    Framing complete before cover, for structural additions

  2. 2

    Rough Plumbing / Mechanical

    Trade rough-ins before concealment

  3. 3

    Final Inspection

    All work complete per approved plans; request online via CommunityCore before 4:00 PM for next-business-day inspection

    Before concrete pour

    Rough Frame / Rough Mechanical / Rough Plumbing

    Framing, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in inspected before concealment; electrical rough-in is inspected separately by Summit County Building Inspection Division

  3. 3

    Final Inspection

    All work complete per approved plans; inspections requested online via CommunityCore before 4:00 PM are conducted the next business day
