Applies to: Commercial Building Permit (New Commercial Construction)

    Footing/Foundation Inspection

    Typical first structural inspection of the full commercial inspection set; exact required inspections are set at plan review. All inspections scheduled by the permit holder via CitizenServe

  2. 2

    Framing Inspection

    Structural framing complete before cover

  3. 3

    Rough Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical Inspections

    Trade rough-ins before concealment; give not less than one working day's notice

  4. 4

    Stormwater (MS4) Inspection

    Commercial buildings carry a separately fee-scheduled $2,150 per-building stormwater inspection

  5. 5

    Final Inspection

    All work complete per approved plans; a final inspection must occur within 2 years of permit issuance or a new permit must be obtained. Repeat visits for the same inspection incur a $75 reinspection fee
