Applies to: Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Permit

    Before concrete pour — verify depth (24-inch frost line for full foundations), forms, rebar

    Framing

    Structural framing, egress windows, fire separation before walls covered

    MEP Rough-In

    Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins under separate trade permits

  4. 4

    Final

    All work complete, smoke/CO detectors, address posted; Certificate of Occupancy issued

    After framing complete, before walls covered — verify structure, connections, blocking, egress

    MEP Rough-In

    Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-ins before wall cover — may require separate trade permits

    Insulation

    Insulation and vapor barrier before drywall (if conditioned space added)
