    The Building Department inspects building construction projects including structural elements, plumbing, heating/cooling, and electrical systems, per its own department page; a 24-hour advance notice is required to schedule each inspection, and the stamped plan set and permit must be available on site

    Permit Final

    A project is not complete until the Permit Final is signed by a City Building Official (PW106); the Building Department retains the original permit on file

    Certificate of Occupancy

    Issued by the Building Department as required upon the signed Permit Final — see the certificate-of-occupancy-permit entry; there is no separate CO application or fee
