    Before concrete pour — footings must extend below 24-inch frost line (SDC D2 Reno)

    Framing / Shearwall

    After framing complete, before insulation or wall cover — structural connections, anchor bolts, shearwall sheathing

  3. 3

    MEP Rough-In

    Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in before walls closed

  4. 4

    Insulation / Energy

    Insulation and energy compliance verification before drywall

  5. 5

    Final

    All work complete, smoke/CO detectors, address posted, ready for Certificate of Occupancy

Applies to: Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Permit

    Footings and foundation before concrete pour — 24-inch frost depth minimum

    Framing
