    Before covering sheathing.

    Lath and Flashing

    Stucco — prior to covering.

  5. 5

    4-Way Inspection

    Frame, electrical, plumbing, mechanical.

  6. 6

    Sheetrock Inspection

    Only if living space is located above a garage.

    Utility Connections

    Gas meter and power connection verification.

    Final Inspection

    For occupancy. Call at least 24-72 hours in advance to schedule inspections at (435) 636-3260; next-day inspections are not guaranteed if requested after 3 PM.

    Electrical inspection of the new EV charger circuit and panel work; power connection verification, per Carbon County's standard inspection sequence.

    Fire alarm wiring is verified as part of Carbon County's standard electrical inspection sequence for buildings not under State Fire Prevention Board jurisdiction — no fire-alarm-specific inspection line item is separately published.

    State Fire Marshal Review / Acceptance (if applicable)

    For buildings under State Fire Prevention Board jurisdiction (R710-4: public buildings, schools/colleges, institutional occupancies, assembly occupancies of 50+), the SFM or an authorized deputy additionally reviews plans for the fire alarm system.
