   Underground / Rough-In (Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical)

   Before backfill and before closing walls or ceilings — all underground and rough-in utilities

3. 3

   Framing

   After framing, sheathing, and rough-in MEP — before insulation or wall cover

4. 4

   Fire Sprinkler / Fire Alarm

   Separate inspection by the Sandy Fire Department where fire suppression or alarm systems are required

5. 5

   Final

   All work complete; Certificate of Occupancy issued upon passing final inspection

Applies to: In-Ground Swimming Pool

   Pre-Gunite / Shell

   Verify rebar, bonding wire, and rough plumbing before concrete shell is applied

   Electrical / Bonding

   Verify pool bonding grid, GFCI protection, and underwater lighting

   Pool barrier compliant with ISPSC before pool can be filled

   All systems operational, barrier in place, deck and coping complete

   After framing and rough-in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work — before insulation or wall cover

   Fire Sprinkler / Fire Alarm (if applicable)

   Separate inspection by the Sandy Fire Department where the scope modifies existing fire suppression or alarm systems

   Final

   All work complete; space approved for occupancy under the tenant's use classification

Applies to: Business License Update — Change of Use / Change of Location

   Scheduled with Building & Safety (801-568-7251) after the update application is filed; a positive final inspection or recommendation is required before an updated license issues

   Fire Department Final Inspection

   Scheduled with the Sandy Fire Department (801-568-2938) after the update application is filed; a positive final inspection or recommendation is required before an updated license issues
