   Battery backup test for the fire alarm system panel.

   Device-level activation and function testing, per Orem Fire Prevention's Contractor's Corner guidance for new-construction alarm systems.

   Address Verification and Signal Transmission Test

   Confirms the monitored alarm signal reaches Metro Dispatch, (801) 854-6211.

   Alarm Final

   Performed in conjunction with the sprinkler final inspection where both systems are present — both the alarm and sprinkler contractors should be present, per Orem Fire Prevention's guidance.

Applies to: Fire Sprinkler System Permit

   Riser Flush

   A bacteria test does not fulfill this requirement, per Orem Fire Prevention's Contractor's Corner guidance for new-construction sprinkler systems.

   Flow sensor and tamper switch verification.
