    Sheathing (roof & walls) / Framing

    Framing may only be performed after electrical, mechanical, and plumbing rough-in inspections (electrical rough-in performed by the State inspector)

  4. 4

    Roofing / Siding / Insulation / Sheetrock-Plaster

  5. 5

    Public Safety

    Egress & Lighting; Fire Protection / Suppression System / Fire-Smoke Alarms & Detectors; Maximum Occupancy Load Posted — listed on the department's own Standard Building Inspections record and most relevant to commercial occupancies

  6. 6

    Final / Certificate of Occupancy

    May only be performed after or simultaneously with electrical (State), mechanical, and plumbing final inspections; a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy is also listed as an available inspection step
