Tips
- Erie uses a DRONE for the final roof inspection — unlike many peer Colorado jurisdictions that require a secured ladder for inspector access, no ladder setup is needed here.
- Ice barrier is NOT locally mandated in Erie unless the shingle manufacturer's own installation instructions require it — confirm your product's manufacturer requirements rather than assuming a blanket local ice-shield rule.
- 3-Tab shingles cannot be used on habitable structures — verify your material choice against this rule before purchasing.
