Tips
- The Utah DAQ 10-working-day notification requirement applies whether or not asbestos is actually found in the structure — any regulated demolition activity triggers the notification duty.
- Residential structures, including any outbuildings greater than 100 square feet, are subject to the Utah Asbestos Rule (Utah Administrative Code R307-801).
- The Questar Service Kill (SK) Permit (for gas service termination) must be obtained separately by calling 1-800-323-5517 and a copy provided to the city before the demolition permit will be processed.
