Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - Noon and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.; closed for lunch 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. The Town does not accept application submittals, payments, nor release permits after 3:30 p.m. Applications for Building, Banner, Demolition, Electrical, Fence/Site Walls, Mechanical, Plumbing, Pool/Spa, and Short-Term Rental permits are submitted via the Accela Citizen Access online portal (aca-prod.accela.com/PARADISEVLY). Building inspections are scheduled via a 24/7 interactive phone system at 480-348-3581 or the Accela portal; winter (Oct-Apr) inspection hours are 7 a.m.-3 p.m., summer (May-Sept) 6 a.m.-3 p.m., and requests received before 3 p.m. are performed the next business day.

    All property pins and lines must be identified prior to the first footing inspection of any type

    Foundation/Footing

    Before concrete pour; verifies rebar per submitted foundation plan

  3. 3

    Framing

    Structural framing, roof framing, and wall-to-foundation/roof-to-wall anchoring per approved plans

  4. 4

    Final

    All work complete per approved plans; required on every permit before closeout

    Underground/Slab

    Before concrete pour — verifies pipe slope, materials, cleanouts

  2. 2

    Rough-In

    After pipes installed, before walls closed

  3. 3

    Final

    Fixtures connected, water heater and gas connections verified, no leaks

Applies to: Pool / Spa Permit

    Pre-Gunite/Shell

    Steel and plumbing verified before shotcrete/gunite application

    Pre-Plaster

    Deck, equipment, and bonding verified before final interior finish

    Barrier/Final

    Barrier height, gate self-closing/self-latching function, and entrapment protection verified per the Town's Barrier Requirements handout before final approval
