Tips
- Per the Town's Plan Review / Inspections page: initial review takes approximately 1-2 weeks, and full plan review for complex projects takes approximately 4-6 weeks; simple residential additions, remodels, and small commercial projects may be reviewed more quickly. This dataset's reviewTimelineDays (7-42 calendar days) spans that full published range.
- The Town uses the older Uniform Building Code (2012 edition) family rather than the newer International Building Code/International Residential Code used by most other Maricopa County cities — this is a genuine, currently-in-force code choice confirmed on the Town's live Code of Ordinances, not a stale directory listing.
- Three (3) physical sets of plans are requested on the permit application, though an electronic copy is preferred per the Town's Plan Review / Inspections page.
- This permit becomes null and void if construction is not begun within 180 days of issuance, or if work is suspended/abandoned for 180 days, per the Town's Building Permit Application provisions.
